Tegan Martin was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2014 at the conclusion of the national pageant held at the Melbourne Sofitel on Collins on Friday June 6th 2014. She will represent Australia in the upcoming Miss Universe 2014 pageant.The first runner-up was Natalie Roser, 24, from Newcastle.

The second runner-up was Danielle Johnson, 23, from Queensland.

The top 5 were completed with Monika Radulovic and Briden Starr.

The Newcastle local was crowned Miss Universe Australia over the weekend although her win was clouded in controversy when another contestant said the competition was rigged. Tegan told Fitzy & Wippa that "it happens every year, there is always people claiming it is rigged." She went onto say she isn't going to let anyone take away her limelight. We love her positivity, it's not easy being queen. 

She also went on to reveal that she is seeing someone, sorry lads better luck with next year's Miss Universe! 

We wish her all the best in the world finals bring home an Aussie win!
