María Gabriela Isler (born April 21, 1988 in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan Fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2012. She will represent Venezuela in Miss Universe 2013. María was born in the city of Valencia, but since she was a little girl she studied and lived in Maracay. She holds a BA in Management and Marketing. Isler, who stands 1.79 m (5 ft 10 1⁄2 in), competed as Miss Guárico, one of 24 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2012, held on August 30, 2012 in Caracas, where she obtained the Miss Elegance award and became the ninth Miss Venezuela winner from Guárico, gaining the right to represent her country in Miss Universe 2013. Being half Venezuelan and half Swiss Maria Gabriella keeps the tendency of the South American nation in sending titleholders with european ancestry. Her father Juan Isler Lengemann is son of immigrants from the communes of Lausanne and Schaffhausen.
