Miss Beverly Hills, Cassandra Kunze was crowned Miss California USA 2014 at the conclusion of the pageant that took place at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach.  Kunze will represent the Golden State at Miss USA 2014.  Kunze is 20 years old and a student at San Diego State University.

The rest of the top 5 includes Natasha Martinez (Malibu) 1st Runner Up, Amanda Delgado (North Orange County) 2nd Runner Up, Alexis Swanstrom (Pacific Beach) 3rd Runner Up and Lauren York (Carlsbad) 4th Runner Up.

Kunze previously served as Miss Teen San Diego County and Miss Teenage California in 2012.

Along with attending SDSU, Kunze is a 2011 graduate of Grossmont High School and has worked as a ballet instructor in the past, according to her LinkedIn profile. 

At the same event, Bianca Vierra was crowned Miss California Teen USA 2014 and will compete in the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant, scheduled for next July in the Bahamas.
