Mariana Figueiredo , from Teresópolis, has crowned the Miss Rio de Janeiro Universe 2011. The 1st runner-up was Luiza Loralay (R), from Cachoeiras de Macacu, and the 2nd runner-up was Gabrielle Viela (L), Miss Angra dos Reis. There were 27 contestants competed.

Nayanne Ferre was the chosen one in the state Maranhao. Both will compete in Miss Brazil Universe 2011, on July 23, in Sao Paulo.
