Miss Singapore World 2011 Contestants finalists

From year 2011, Miss Singapore World will bring the contest to a whole a new level. We will run the show with only the highest standards and sophistication. There’ll be a few exciting events running up to Miss Singapore World 2011 Coronation Night:

Beachwear Event
Fashion Show
Fitness Training (on-going)
Personal Development Training by Teo Ser Lee
Charity Events (School visits, etc.)
Coronation Night
Miss Singapore World encourages smart, beautiful and compassionate youths ages 17 – 24, to join the contest and have an opportunity to represent Singapore on the World-Stage! Finalists will go through professional training workshops which will focus on social etiquette, healthy lifestyle and stage presentation. They will also be taught cultural awareness and history of Singapore.

The Events Specials:

Beachwear Event

A private networking event involving beach games and water sports, in a casual and fun atmosphere. This will be followed by a catwalk, where the contestants will present themselves to the judges.

They will be judged based on their looks in beachwear and how spontaneous they are in the various activities (points will be given for each activity). The winner will be announced during Coronation Night.

Fashion Show

A professional and sophisticated Fashion Show modeled by the Finalists, featuring Miss Singapore World 2011 sponsor’s/partner’s apparels and jewelry. This will be a private networking event with invited guests only.

The contestants will be judged based on their composure on stage and their catwalk. The winner will be announced on the Coronation Night.

Fitness

Miss Singapore World promotes healthy lifestyle.

The Finalists will be trained by professional trainers from our fitness center sponsor/partner. The training will be on-going for about 8 weeks, once a week.

Personal Development Training

This is an ongoing program to ensure that the Finalists are in line with our high standards for perception management.

Miss Singapore World 2011 Finalists will undergo intensive professional training by Teo Ser Lee. These trainings include social etiquette, deportation, social lifestyle, cultural awareness, history of Singapore, communication skills and stage presentation.

Charity

This is an on-going charity support from the Finalists to uphold the core principle of Miss World - “Beauty with A Purpose” by giving, sharing and caring for the less fortunate children.

Miss Singapore World will be supporting 3 schools under the care of Community Chest: AWWA School, The Spastic Children’s Association School and Woodlands Gardens School.

Coronation Night

The Head of Miss World, Julia Morley together with year 2010 Miss World Winner, Alexandria Mills will be present at Miss Singapore World 2011 Coronation Night for the first time ever in the Singapore history of Miss World contests.

The event will be presented in concert-style with sophistication. We will be featuring local and foreign celebrities to perform on stage. All the guests who will be invited to the Coronation Night are Miss Singapore World 2011 sponsors/partners, families and friends of the Finalists, clients/contacts from reputable and high-end companies/brands.

Miss Singapore World 2011 together with our Venue Partner for Coronation Night will sponsor some tables for charity contribution to Community Chest.
