Nia Sanchez is Miss USA 2014 - and there's no doubt about it, she is absolutely banging.
But clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed?

The newly crowned beauty queen was quizzed on the capital of the very state she represented in the pageant (Miss Nevada), on a US radio show yesterday, and all she could manage was, "Oh... Um... ahhh... Oh my gosh!"
The host then helped her out and answered his own question with "Carson City," FOX News revealed.she said, "THANK YOU! I was going to say that!"

The botch couldn't come at a worse time for the stunner, who is being investigated after claims she isn't actually a resident of Nevada - reports are flooding in that she faked her Nevada residency in order to compete in the competition, according to TMZ.

The Miss Universe Organisation has hit back at the claims, telling E! Online - "She met her requirements to compete. Nia is a great person and we know she'll be a great title holder."
Sanchez appeared on the morning radio program "The Todd Show" where she was asked by the host to name her state's capital.
To make matters worse, Sanchez tried to save herself but ended up in a more awkward situation when she added, "Thank you I was gonna say that, I was like, that one DJ host on MTV, back in the day, his name, that's how I always remember it."
The 24-year-old Sanchez competed against several other aspiring beauty queens in last week's competition. However, her latest win resulted in endless issues after multiple sources revealed that she was not really from Nevada, US Weekly noted.
However, in an interview with FOX411 last week, Sanchez clarified, "Las Vegas is my home. I have a house there with a friend."
Such claims were contrary to a source's comment who said, "She never actually moved to Nevada, but continued to work at Disney and live in California, setting up some minimum paper trail to appear like she was in Nevada and allow her to compete. Shanna Moakler is the Nevada director, and she personally coached Nia on what she needed to do to qualify in Nevada and skirt around the need to be actually from there."
Meanwhile, Sanchez's cell phone number starts with 951, which means she may very well be from Nevada, according to the Press Enterprise.
Talking about her recent win, the 24-year-old beauty said, "It's been so much fun! This is just like being a princess."
